LIFE DIARY: Hello to "YOU"

Happy 2016 Everyone

I hope you all had a splendid Holiday and New Year celebration.
I know I did with my families and friends but to be honest, more family...

Usually, when the New Year comes, you want to set new goals along with goals that you already have or have not achieved. I usually always remind myself of old goals from years ago by listing them and then slowly still try to achieve them. Most of them where high school girl dream goals that consist of love, happiness, weight watching, and food. Normal right?

Slowly, as you age, you start to dream a little bigger, want more things, or something along the line. This year, I kind of want to stick to some simple goals ago which is, Living happy and wishing for more great memories with a little bit of travel if possible, try weight watching myself, and maybe even be more productive than ever.

Goals are meant to be something that can be dreamed and achieved with lots of determination and work. I would like to work hard this year and achieve these goals of mines like this. With age, you slowly become more realistic with self goals and slowly, start to enjoy the small things that are "boring" like sleeping, being lazy and doing nothing.

NEW SELF GOALS:

I have been setting goals for the past couple of weeks and making a list of them. I have put some time and thought into them because I want them to be realistic and successful with results slowly through the year this time. Hopefully, all the hard work I put into thinking of them in not wasted.

So, I am here to share the 4 important ones that I have always seem to remind myself of every year and every time. These are the ones that I always go back to and always seem to "post-pone" all the time.

1. Happiness
- I want to live a life with lots of happy moments that I can always remember on and it's nice to feel like the life I am living is not one with many faults and unpleasant thoughts. Living a life with happiness will guarantee me one thing for sure and that 1 thing is, making an impact.

2. Being/Becoming Healthy
- Slowly, I have been losing myself to the great battle of Food.
I am not proud but what can I say, I love food and I love eating new foods that are delicious. It's like second nature to me now but slowly as it happened, I started to notice, at a time too late, that I have gained some pounds. Clothing pieces I spent lots of money on don't fit as well anymore which is horrible because now, It means spending more money on clothes that may not fit as well either. It's a scary feeling and certainly, a waste of money.
So, I have slowly started changing my food habits and started to do lots of research on exercise routines that best fit me and not rush into it. I mean, it's still Winter and it does snow where I am from. For the next couple of months, I will be focusing on 2 major things which is food dieting that works great for me and indoor-easy exercise that won't stress me out too much about my life style. I don't want to change my life style in a day because if I do that, I might just go back to my old habits and routines so for me, this is the best way.

3. YouTube and Blogging
- This year, I want to keep up with YouTube and Blogging because I have been neglecting it and I do have a lot of "spare" time but I always get nervous and scared about what I post on my blog, record, and more. I seem to have this self-consciousness that just lingers on about what I want to put on my social medias. So, this year, I will just post to post because I want to be efficient with my time and mostly, I want to share things I have learned with you all too. I always tell myself it's okay that some people don't like what I post because everyone is born and raised different but if they can relate, it would be great. I hope that this year, this GOAL becomes successful.

4. Never forget "ME"
- As you start to age, you slowly start to become more noticeable to what you want in life but then along the way, you lose yourself to things you never thought possible.
This is something I always remind myself every month as I age because losing yourself is scary and it hurts not just your self-esteem, but everyone around you. I am glad I can have a Best Friend that can always help remind me that I just need to be myself around her and that it's okay if we don't meet "eye to eye" because that is what makes us human and unique.

I hope you all enjoy this little post with lots of words.
I know it was more like a rant but I really want to update you all on life changes and more.
I definately think it is great to have more than 1 goal but it just depends on you as a person to achieve them because they are your goals. I personally think if you have a world wide goal like losing weight or something, I suggest participating them with a friend/family or even having a support from your friend/family that can help you stay on track. I find it easier that way because it make you feel like you are not "alone" and sometimes, moral support is what you really need to most of the time.

Always see the better half of everything and You can definitely achieve a lot of things.

Thanks for reading my post and I will talk to you all next time.

ASK&TELL: When is the right time?

ASK: Hi Franny. I was wondering how young were you when you first applied makeup because people think I'm too young right now to apply makeup and what kind of makeup remover and masks do you use?
Makeup differs on people and also on what kind of style you like. I don't believe there is a right or wrong age to start makeup at because my nieces and them love makeup because they think it's fun but it's not like they are wearing eye linear and foundation. They just like the brushes and the blush.
I personally don't think that there is a wrong age because makeup is something that is never going away. Some people may think you are too young but it really just depends on how much makeup you are wearing. I would say wear less when younger because you skin is still growing and you really don't start developing acne until you are 12-14 years of age. That is when you really want to maybe pay attention on what you are doing like showering, sports, skin care, what you applying to your face, and what kind of food.
Not saying that you should not eat anything but maybe take notice of little things like how for some people, chocolate makes people break-out a lot and for some, no. Just something to definitely keep an eye out if you are at this age because I never knew and I broke out badly around my cheeks and nose are until I started using cleansers and other products but now begins the true problem though and that is, which is the right product for you to use to cleanse you face.

- Using Cleansing Products -
I can't say what is a good cleanser because my skin type may be different from yours and may have different reactions to products. I have used American cleaners such as Neutrogena, Clearasil, and more but for me, they make my face either too dry or too oily so I use Asian facial products and also sometimes clean my face with natural homemade scrubs. My personal skin type is normal/dry and that really depends on the season because during the summer, I may develop a bit of an oil skin due to the heat and sweat but then in the winter, my skin gets dry very easily from the cold and plus, it snows where I am too.
You really have to test a lot of things like when you test makeup but make sure you are reading what kind of skin it works best on. If you use facial mask, most times they are universal for all skin type but when it comes to certain individual products, some may work better or worse for your skin. You have to be careful though because your skin may really act up when using products.

When I shop/look for products in makeup/skin care,
I usually look for:
FOUNDATION:
+ Tone/Color - You want to match it as close as possible to your skin so it doesn't look unnatural
+ Finish - Test the products if you can and see what kind of finish it has on you skin.
Is it a matte finish? Does it look natural? Is the foundation blend in my skin?
+ Mineral/Loose Powder - Make sure you are not allergic to anything in the product.

 SKIN CARE/ CLEANSER:
+ Functions - Every cleanser has a function and each one is different.
Did you pick the right one you want? Repair skin? Toner? Makeup Remover? Skin Whitening?
+ Size - If you can purchase a sample size, try it. This will save money if you don't like the product.
+ Ingredients - If it's natural or has anything I can't use that may have a reaction on my skin.
Your face has a lot of sensitive spots that can be ruined. Look carefully at the ingredients.

ALSO LOOK FOR REVIEWS but ask questions such as skin type because they might have a different type of skin than you for sure. Everyone doesn't have the same skin tone at all so for others, it may work better or worse.

Cleansers I Recommend for First timers:

FOREVER 21 LOVE&BEAUTY Makeup Remover [ PHOTO FROM: FOREVER 21 SITE ]
I personally like this makeup remover. It is affordable at a price range of USD5-USD8 and that is not the only reason, it removes my waterproof makeup with no troubles for me. I have been through about 4 different make up removers and this one doesn't make my skin feel oily after the use and not only that, it makes my skin feel refreshed after one use of a towelette. I definitely recommend this makeup remover for anyone and they have it in different scents and types from Lavender, Aloe, and much more.

Apple Peeling Whitening Gel by Arrahan [ PHOTO FROM: GOOGLE SEARCH]
I have used this product for about a year now and I love how well it works!! My boyfriend/fiance purchased this product for me thinking how I may like it and I actually fell in love with it. It removes the deep dirt within your skin and leaves you skin very refreshed and cleansed. I like seeing the removal of dirt from my face even though it's kinda of disgusting knowing how much dirt was built up in my skin. You can purchase this product on Ebay and I HIGH RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
When using this product, only us it twice a week so it doesn't sweep away your natural oils from the skin which helps prevent acne and other breakouts you may have.

Strawberry Pure Essential Sang Sang Pack by VOV [ PHOTO FROM: KOREABUYS.COM ]
This gel type mask from a tube is really nice and you don't need apply a lot either. This was another thing my boyfriend/fiance had purchase for me when shopping. I love the way it smells and how it keeps my skin fresh and soft. This is a gel mask you have to apply and it works fantastic. It makes skin look radiant and feel soft. Not only that but moisturizes and boosts suppleness in the skin. It's kind of hard to find this product on Ebay because I've looked but if I find a site, I'll list it below.

Kao Biore Nose Pore Pack Cleansing Strip [ PICTURE FROM: KAO.COM ]
I have small blackhead around my nose and it's not very noticeable but I do have quite a lot there and so I use this to remove the blackheads and it works great. You get to see the results of the blackheads be pulled out and you only need one strip. The consistent use is every 3-4 days, use one strip to make sure black heads are removed and this is when you first use this product. After the first 3-4 weeks of using it, once every week or every 2 weeks. I have been using this product for about 5 months and I use it about once every 4 weeks or month so in the long run, it is a great investment if you have a lot of blackheads. 10 strips come in 1 pack.

This is all for this post. Thank you for the question and hopefully I can answer a lot more. Hopefully this was helpful to you and until my new ASK&TELL post, thanks for reading!!!

XOXO

Tutorial: Rustic Gold Makeup

Here is my FIRST Photo Tutorial!!

FINISH LOOK PHOTO
This look can also work as a Valentine's Day Look if you are looking for something simple and easy to accomplish. You can adjust this look to your liking depending on how you want to wear it. I have been wearing this eye makeup for a long while up until I changed hair color from orange-red to black. Hope you all enjoy this tutorial.

FOUNDATION:
- Snail BB Cream Foundation SPF30++
- FLOWER Cover Stick Makeup by Drew Barrymore
- MaryKay Loose Powder in Ivory 1
- E.L.F. Kabuki Brush
- FITme Finishing Powder in 325 (Used for Contouring)

CIRCLE LENS:
- EOS Candy Brown
I personally really like these circle lens because they make my eye color look lighter. With the Black ring on the outside, it also makes my eyes appear bigger and very dolly like. These lens are ones I always order over and over again because they are comfy too.

EYELIDS:
- Eyelid Tape (OPTIONAL)
You really don't need eyelid tape but I wanted to wear eyelid tape. The eyelid tape helps make a bigger/thicker crease line as you can see from the picture. I have natural double eyelids but from time to time randomly, One of my eyes turns into a mono-lid.

Apply your Eyelid Primer OPPOSITE from how you usually might apply like the picture.

Using a Copper Cream Eyeshadow, Apply right in the middle of your lids.

Using a Linear Brush, Use a Rustic Red and Line it close to your eyes and 1/3 of the bottom outer corner.

Use a Matte Dark Brown Eyeshadow and apply on your outer top 1/3 brushing it back and forth dragging the color on to your crease line and whatever s left on the brush to the bottome edge of your eyes.

Apply Red Eyeshadow to the center of your lids on top of the copper eyeshadow. Lightly window-wipe the color in a tear drop downward sweap towards to give your brown and red a mix.

For a highlighting color, I choose a Pale Yellow instead of the shimmer white color because this will make your eyes appear more natural and the colors will appear more rustic.

EYEBROWS:
Matte Brown
- Dolly Wink Otana Eyebrow Mascara #1
I just colored in my eyebrowns in it's natural curve and the applied the eyebrow mascara afterwards and this makes my eyebrows colored. Straight eyebrows also work really well with this makeup look too.

LINEAR:
Using a pencil linear, Line your TOP waterline. No need to exaggerate the line. You just want to color in your top waterline to make a more full on look with top lashes.

LINEAR:
Now using your liquid/gel linear, you want to line close as possible to your top waterline from the first 2/3 of your eyes. outer 1/3, you can make a little thicker and at the end, drag the linear down to create a droopy/puppy eye look.
KEY POINT: Inner eye and Outer Eye lines should match straight.

EYELASHES:
When Applying lashes, you must apply from the outer inwards. Start y placing lashes from where you eye linear end outwards and apply on. This will give your eyes a bigger look.
BOTTOM LASHES ARE OPTIONAL. If applying bottom lashes, it's the same concept.

APPLYING BLUSH:
- Love&Beauty Blush #3 from Forever 21 Makeup
- FITme Blush in Deep Rose
I personally like applying cream blush first because it makes my blush last longer. I apply cream and powder both in raindrop forms but not one on top of the other. I sweep the powder blush upwards but don't apply directly.

LIPS:
- E.L.F. Lipstick in "POSH"
I first wear lip balm.
When wearing lipstick, apply more on my inner bottom lips and then close my lips rubbing it around all over my lips to give it a tinted look but with color. This also makes my lips look smaller too.

FINISH LOOK

This is the finished look full on face.
You can modify this look to your liking and feel free to change/add on things to your look. I just wanted to share this makeup look with you all because I really like this rustic color a lot. Hopefully you all enjoyed this look and I will be doing a lot more picture tutorial on my blog.
