In just a few days Micah will experience his first egg hunt and open his very own (and first) Easter basket! Get out of here, how did that happen?! I know, I've been asking myself that same question! Time sure it ticking by at the speed of light or so it seems. His first birthday is just around the corner, but let's not get ahead of ourselves and focus on Easter first, I can only take so much.
I really had a great time selecting the items in his basket. What made it more exciting for me was making it fun for him all the while keeping it budget friendly for us. Most of the items you see here are from The Dollar Store or Target's dollar spot, score!
Since Micah is not able to understand the meaning of Easter or the idea behind an Easter basket, I decided to keep it simple this year. However, I wanted the items to be fun, educational, and useful.
* Book, "Prayers to Share" - Target's Dollar Spot
* Blue ball - (This ball has blue and red lights inside that light up when contact is made with the ground). - The Dollar Store
* Book, "Safari Splash!" - The Dollar Store
* Bubble Fun (set of three) - The Dollar Store
* Annie's Cheddar Bunnies - Target
* Happy Tot - Target
* Quack Ducks - HomeGoods
* White pants - H&M
I had no idea H&M had such cute clothes for kids.
Yellow Easter basket $1 - Target
These are all the items that made it into Micah's first basket. I can't hardly wait to see his reaction and expression as he digs in. I'll be sure to have that camera handy. Let's see what next year has in store for us. For now I leave you with my video in case you want to see a more in-depth description of each item.
As always, thank you so much for stoping by!
Wishing everyone a happy and blessed Easter. :)
